For Thanksgiving weekend, my sister Mel, her husband Jose and their little baby came to visit us in Kansas.  

And I got to hang out with Leandro. :)

Now, with the Norman slanty eyes...

And Jose's olive skin...

He looks a bit Asian.

So I'm thinking the stork sent him to the wrong house.

He must be our baby.

(No, we're not pregnant.)

I told him he should stay with us.

But he wouldn't be convinced.

He's too loved where he's at.

Little tots happen to be my specialty.  

Especially little boys.

Somewhere during the session I think to myself, "DUDE! These kids are cute..."

And then I remember - it's probably because their parents are so adorable.

Torrey and Tiff met on a Friday as they were helping some mutual friends move...

And by Sunday... they knew it was love. (Love as in, let's-get-married-and-have-kids-love.  Bam - just like that. Isn't that amazing?)

Because it's been so long since they've had family pictures done, Tiff was a bit nervous.

I don't blame her! Being in front of the camera is incredibly intimidating, especially when you have small children - anything could happen! :)

But as the session went on, I could see them all relax...

We explored together...

Cuddled together...

And took time to breathe in the moment.

Before they knew it...

They were pros at this whole picture thing. :)

And before I knew it...

I'd fallen pretty hard for this sweet family.

And the little tender moments.
