A few weeks ago, I got to meet some new friends and their precious one year old bundle.

With my own baby’s first birthday around the corner, it reminded me of a phrase I hear pretty often:

“The days are long, but the years are short.”

As a mom of two, sometimes the days feel reeeaaaaallly long. But it’s also true that the years fly by before you even know it.

And it was so sweet to see this simple little family drink in every moment.

Happy first birthday, little Graham! You’ve been born into a world where you’re loved by SO many. I hope you grow up to make the world a better place. :)

I promised the kids that our shoot would take ten minutes.

When your aunt is a photographer, it’s kind of required that you put up with her picture taking about once a year.

What I did NOT expect was how much they would love it.

But you can’t really tell that from the photos…. can you? :)
