The instant I saw them, I couldn't help but smile.

I gave her a hug and we excitedly exchanged phrases like, "I'm SO excited!" and "You guys look SO adorable!"

Then.... in short... we took pictures.

And we got to know each other.

And we laughed.

And we had a blast.

And somehow... we ended up feeling like family.

(Seriously... WHY have we never officially met before? :)

I am so blessed to do what I love, and to love what I do.

Are props over rated?

No.

Props have to be personal.

To me, a portrait photographer, pets are props. And fun ones, at that!

The expression and connections you can capture between a pet and it's owner is just as strong as family members.

Most times, pets are family members.

Squirt guns.

Squirt guns make wonderful props. Squirt guns make wet props. Squirt guns get the best reactions! :)

Squirt guns are a great way to end a hot photoshoot. :)
