Right as we arrived, it started raining.

We huddled in the stairwell for a few moments, but then decided to make the most of it.

The kids were chilled to the bone in the almost freezing temperatures…

But the cold kept us warmly tucked together.

And the bitter wind kept our cheeks rosy pink.

Who knew cold days offered such perks for photos?

It’s laughter again… filling us with joy on a cold day.

And it’s love again… making it all worthwhile.
