2nd shooting

A couple weeks ago, I got an opportunity to 2nd shoot a wedding with a fellow photographer, Angie Archer from Angela Archer Photography!

Becoming the assistant was quite different than what I'm used to... especially at a wedding! (I have to keep quiet??)

But it was awesome. Like, rockin' awesome. Because... I learned so much from her! She's amazing at posing (I am not), she's got some awesome equipment (I was seriously drooling...), and she's been doing this for a lot longer than I have(but she's still right around my age.... crazy huh?)!

It just reminded me, yet again, to never get comfortable.

There's always more to learn.

Regret

It was dark and stormy. And I was busy.

But when I walked by the window, I knew that if I didn't try... I'd regret it.

So I grabbed my tripod, camera, and my courage.

I didn't really catch the lightning the way I wanted it to.

It was severely buggy.

It was extremely wet.

I was picturing more... epic-ness.

But it was worth it.

And I didn't regret it.

Psalm 97:4

His lightnings light up the world; the earth sees and trembles.
