My brother is getting married.  

To a girl.

But not just any girl... a lovely girl named Melinda!

And (as good sisters do) we threw her a lovely Chocolate and Coffee themed shower on Saturday.

Actually, my sisters (and sister-in-laws) threw her a lovely shower....

I just showed up with the camera.

It was a lovely time of just hanging out as girls...

Celebrating and enjoying Melinda. :)

Which is easy to do...

Because, like I said, she's lovely. :)

We played games...

And quizzed Melinda on all sorts of Brian-isms...

And laughed a whole bunch!

As the last of my siblings to get married...

I was reminded yet again of how blessed I am...

Melinda, we love you. :)

When you're recovering from surgery, it's the little things that count. Like getting out of bed for the first time.

Or being able to shave your face.

So I seized the moment with a photo. Or two.

One day, your dad won't be able to shave on his own.

One day, YOU won't be able to shave on your own.

Count your blessings.

Enjoy every second of your shaving time.

And health.

Never take it for granted.
