I promised the kids that our shoot would take ten minutes.

When your aunt is a photographer, it’s kind of required that you put up with her picture taking about once a year.

What I did NOT expect was how much they would love it.

But you can’t really tell that from the photos…. can you? :)

She asked if I would be able come to their house.

The house they turned into their home last year.

Where they’ve set up their lives, their plants, their cats, and their love.

(And their flags.)

And where they will soon welcome their new baby.

Where the nearby trees become familiar shade.

And where home becomes the place where you find peace.

Baby mama HEATHER! Your belly is beautiful and so is your home. Thanks for showing me both. :) I love you guys and can’t wait to see you welcome your little bundle!!
