When you photograph them from tiny infants to big tall adolescents, somewhere along the way they get stuck as little kids in your mind.

And you forget that they’re taller than you now.

Or that in a few years they’ll be driving themselves around.

And then you get all weepy and sad… but then you remember.

You didn’t even raise these kids. But you’re still related. And they’re still your family. And you’ll fight ANYONE for them ANY day.

So look out, world. These kids are coming. (But with their auntie not far behind…)

Becky - HEYO we nailed it again! Next time you get stressed about outfits, just remember this one time when you pulled clothes out of closets and made them look like models with effortless style. Love you guys! :)

The sky was dark, and the sun was already tucked behind the clouds.

And somebody’s shirt was definitely on inside out. (But I’m sworn to secrecy.)

And not everybody “looked” when they were supposed to.

And we took a few minutes to be sad when we needed it.

But everyone was there. In the flesh. Present. And (mostly) thrilled to be together.

And with your family… that’s really all that matters.

Stacey - you know I get super nervous before every session of ours… but then I end up loving them all SO MUCH. Thanks for trusting your family with me again and again. It’s an honor to see you all grow and change… together. Love you guys!
