Sometimes it’s not always obvious how kids are like their parents.

It could be the smile, the shape of the nose, or just the noise we make when we clear our throats. (That’s me!)

But in my brief time with my clients, I get to catch glimpses of the genes they share.

In the color, shape and texture of the hair.

Or the way fingers mold together.

Or maybe just the curiosities that fuel our soul.

Barb and Kris - you created a beauty of a person. She is a treasure and YOU guys are a treasure! Thanks for exploring with me, putting up with the heat, and for being people that I’m SO happy exist in this world. Love to your family!!

Right as we arrived, it started raining.

We huddled in the stairwell for a few moments, but then decided to make the most of it.

The kids were chilled to the bone in the almost freezing temperatures…

But the cold kept us warmly tucked together.

And the bitter wind kept our cheeks rosy pink.

Who knew cold days offered such perks for photos?
