I've known Dale and Jean since before I can remember. (No literally - before I can remember.) They are two of the sweetest, most goofy people you'll ever meet.  

Growing up in the Awana program at my church, they were my Awana Missionaries.

And beloved by all.

Dale emailed me about doing family photos waaay back in 2012... But we never got around to it.

I guess they were too busy enjoying their grandkids...  :)

Taking after the goofiness of Dale and Jean - the kids and grandkids asked if they could jump.

How could I say no to such sweet faces? :)

Dale and Jean, I was so blessed to be able to meet, get to know, and hang out with the rest of your family! Thank you so much for trusting me with your memories! Love you both bunches. :)

Babies. Lots and lots of babies. Last weekend I had the huge privilege of being an aunt again - twice. My sister-in-law and my sister were both pregnant and due soon... and they both had their babies last weekend! Although I'm not able to see my beautiful new niece in North Carolina (congratulations, Monica and Chris!), I was able to see my sister Becky's new son - Silas Klodt Bailey. And as I happened (thanks Jesus!) to be in MN last weekend for some photo shoots, I was able to document their family's first time all together. Having done the exact same thing (in the exact same hospital room, mind you... how crazy is that?) about two years ago with little Levi's entrance into this world, I was excited to catch the wonder and excitement of the whole family.

These little girls are pros at the whole "big sister" thing by now...

And everyone was excited to see daddy.

Levi had no idea what was going on...

But insisted on holding the baby right away!

I think he already knows that they'll be best friends someday.

Now, I've told Becky this before, but its worth repeating - I want to have babies just like her. (Having a baby in 20 minutes? Makeup? Decent hair?? Yes please!)

The girls ooed and awwed over Silas...

And for a moment, the whole family breathed deep - all together at last.

Grandpa and Grandma joined in on the fun moments later...

And the story was explained again and again.

We laughed...

And cuddled....

And thanked God for a safe delivery.

(And I thanked God for another red haired child to photograph - SO cute!)

I'm so excited for my sister and her family...

And so thankful for another nephew.
