Beds and Pajamas

I'm in India. Well, hopefully I'm in India. You're reading a "pre-blogged" scheduled post that I wrote earlier this week and set to publish today. You can read more about our trip to India here... but let's just say I'm ready for the experience of a LIFETIME. Right now I'm probably trying to recover from jet-lag, so pray for us as we adjust to a completely different culture! :) Since I'm probably in bed sleeping right now, I figured I'd share some photos I took last week that make me snuggly. Photos that make you feel like Saturday mornings with waffles and pajamas and sleeping in. Photos of little kids with bed hair and sunshine and sunny bedrooms. Those are my favorite types of photos.

Allison and Madeline

When I first moved to Kansas City, my amazing wedding photographer (Melissa Jill) connected me with a fellow photographer in the area - Allison of Allison Marie Photography. From the moment Sunil and I met her and her husband, we knew we had made amazing friends. Allison and her husband, Grant, are incredibly passionate, generous, and brilliant people, and we have loved getting to know them over the past year. When they announced last year that they were expecting TWINS, I'm pretty sure I literally squealed! You can read more about it on Allison's blog, but her journey has been a difficult and amazing experience. Last week I got to hang out with Allison and finally meet their two beautiful children: Abram and Madeline. I just "happened" to bring along my camera, and was able to get a few adorable photos of Allison hanging out with her sweet babies. Enjoy!! :)
