Patient and steady. Isaiah is the type that will get things done by himself without making a fuss. He knows what he wants and will work hard until he gets it. In his quiet, patient way, he won Jessica over - slowly but surely. 

Jess has a big heart and a love for all things organized and lovely. Her passion for teaching little ones and making a difference in this world is infectious... But hidden beneath her layers, she's a nerd at heart. And it's never more evident than when she's with Isaiah... Because together, they bring out the best in each other. :)

I met Jess and Isaiah through our small group at church, and it's been SO fun to watch their relationship unfold! Their wedding in July is going to be the cutest, most sophisticated backyard wedding that you've ever seen and I can't wait for that day to arrive! YAY!!

Last weekend they took time out of their busy schedules to wander around downtown with me for their engagement photos! 

I loved all the little nooks and crannies that we found... :)

Because Jess LOVES photos, Isaiah made sure to include me when he was planning his proposal. In fact, I got to do a mini-photoshoot a few minutes after they got engaged! It was SO fun! :)

I love the way that Isaiah makes Jess giggle... it's like they're an old married couple already!! :)

What I love about these two is how relaxed they are around each other. 

A midst the stress of work, teaching, planning a wedding and buying a house... 

They're always there for each other to calm down, take a deep breath, and drink in the moment.

And they make an adorable couple... :)

Jess and Isaiah, thanks so much for allowing me to be a part of your lives in this way! It's such an honor to be your friends AND to be able to photograph your wedding... the best of both worlds!! :) Love you both! 

As some of you may have seen, last week Sunil and I traveled out to California to visit my brother and his family. It's not often we get out to California and Brad's seminary graduation seemed like the perfect occasion to plan a trip! 

While we were out there, we got to plan a photo shoot! Photographing young families is my FAVORITE, and it's even more delightful when we're related. :)

To make the family reunion even more sweet, my parents were able to fly out for the same weekend! They loved hanging out with their sweet granddaughters. :)

Even though I don't see these adorable girls very often... 

They sure warmed up to me quickly!! 

We giggled and snuggled and laughed the evening away... :)

Their home is always full of smiles and hugs - and lots of imagination! 

Michelle is one of the most tender mothers I've ever seen. 

Brad and Michelle have been married for 10 years this June - I can't believe it's been that long since their wedding! 

I loved every second of our photo shoot together..

And I can't wait to go back - someday soon!! :)
