There's something so refreshing about a family that shows up to have fun. 

I love family photography, and I LOVE that I get to capture and create memories for little growing families in my part of the world. 

The added bonus for me... is when a family shows up completely trusting - with no doubts and no agenda. 

To simply embrace and be embraced. 

So that the smiles that result... 

Are not plastered on their faces when requested... 

But simply a part of how they live. 

And I get to capture them - with full arms, and full hearts. 

To the beautiful Daggett family, thank you so much for showing up ready to trust. 

And for allowing me to really see who you really are. 

I couldn't be more blessed. :)

There's something pretty amazing about being able to photograph the same family multiple times. More than just clients... they become friends! And you can tell clients have become friends when the kids run up and hug you right away. :)

These kids are some of the most inquisitive, adventurous children I've ever met! Bugs are a marvel and a treasure to them - and they're not even the least bit scared! 

Mom and dad are both gentle, nurturing, patient, and beautifully free-spirited. 

And it makes for beautifully free children. 

This little lady found a frog, kissed him, and was about to take him home to be her prince... :)

I love that mom is so "go with the flow"... it takes a very patient mother to raise 5 kids! :)
