The Isom Family

Sometimes the best locations for photos are the most random spots.

Find a bike path near two railroad tracks.

Make sure it’s close to a garbage dump so everything smells lovely.

Insert some tall weeds…

Some golden light…

And a family heirloom quilt.

Then, at the very end… add in a sweet family, with a squishy baby, a splash of love, and a whole dose of tickles.

CHEYENN! Let’s make this a yearly tradition, shall we?? I’m so glad we got the last beautiful weekend that Fall had to offer! I had such fun photographing your beautiful family! Enjoy. :)

The Brownawell Family 2019

I will not try to convey how cold we were.

I won’t even show you the photos in-between photos where we huddled under our extra layers for warmth.

Before braving out into the biting wind once more to snuggle next to our loved ones.

I will not show you our frozen fingers, our red noses, or our visible breath.

But I will show you these.

Being together. Being loved. Being family.

(And being a little cold.)

Melony, we picked the coldest day of the year again!! We have to stop doing this. ;) Thank you so much for letting me photograph your cheery crew - even when they wanted to be far away, snuggled under some warm blankets. (I kinda did too!) Love you guys so much!
