With every photo shoot I deliver, I always include a few options in black and white.

Something about the simplicity of black and white brings out the life in each frame.

It removes distractions… Highlights the beauty.

And outlasts all the newest editing trends or fads.

Because that’s what our photos are meant to do…

It’s so hard to turn off the Parent Brain.

When it comes to our kids…

We’re constantly correcting, encouraging, redirecting… And mostly just making sure they don’t die.

That’s why it’s my favorite thing when parents show up for photos and decide to just have fun. Together.

It means that your photos will not only be full of moments where you LOOK like you’re enjoying your kids…

But also that those moments won’t be faked. They’ll be real. And that’s the best memory of all.
