When the colors in Kansas City are in full display and I’m in my car driving along…

Almost every road looks like the perfect location for a session.

You’d never know that just yards away is a highway with cars driving over 70 mph.

But here in this little corner of the woods…

They were in their own little world.

Lost in each other’s eyes. :)

As a family photographer, I sometimes get requests to do photos for just adults.

Usually anniversary photos, or in this case… engagement photos!!

Casey and MaRyah are planning a lovely Colorado wedding next year and wanted to celebrate their engagement with fall photos.

I’m so used to working with little kids that I think I treated them like toddlers for the first 20 minutes on accident. :)

But I think deep down inside, everyone still has a little kid who just wants to be play and laugh and giggle a little bit.

So that’s what we did. :)
