Josh and Lauren's Wedding | Kansas City Wedding Photographer

The day had arrived. Their relationship had waited 10 years for this moment, and Josh and Lauren were SO thrilled to begin their new life together surrounded by as many friends and family as they could pack into their beloved church!

From the very beginning, they knew their wedding would be a huge celebration. A day to remember the God who had brought them together, and a day to rejoice with the family and friends that had supported them along the way.

Josh and Lauren are the perfect mix of sentimental, fun, and classy, and I loved the beautiful details they incorporated into their wedding!

Lauren was so blessed to be surrounded by some of her closest girlfriends - girls that had supported and encouraged her throughout her life.

She made a STUNNING bride!! :)

No joke: I almost cried during their first look!

Josh's reaction was SO priceless, and Lauren just giggled with delight!

It was a lovely April day, and the morning sun was just glorious to work with!

I just love this photo!!

Josh is such a classy guy!!

Lauren, we told you this a million times, but your dress was PERFECT for you!!

Their bridal party was so fun and laid back!

And they fearlessly followed me into the woods (mud!) without a complaint! :)

Lauren has such special relationships with her family and she had so many precious moments with them before the wedding.

And Josh cried again when he saw his bride approaching him.

Their vows were beautifully written and did an amazing job capturing their love and commitment for each other!

YAY! MARRIED!! :)

Both Josh and Lauren wanted to have a huge celebration following their wedding ceremony, and it was one of the most unique (and fun!) receptions I'd ever been a part of!

Even Grandma made it out onto the dance floor! :)

So sweet!

Josh and Lauren, THANK YOU so much for allowing us to be a part of your wedding day!! There was never a dull moment, and we loved capturing your beautiful love for each other. Praying that God blesses your marriage above and beyond what you could ever dream - we love you guys!! :)

Chrissy & Erik | Kansas City Engagement Photographer

She was in a bad mood and decided to set up a dating profile as a joke - even though she knew she wasn't interested. At first it was all completely sarcastic (it's her most fluent language), but when he messaged her, Chrissy knew he was different than all the rest.

Erik ended up joining the same Christian dating site and decided to expand his search to include more than his current location. Chrissy immediately caught his attention, and it wasn't long before the two were sending pages upon pages back and forth daily - even though they lived hours apart. When they met in person for the first time, Chrissy was won over by the way Erik could make her laugh like no one else... and it didn't take long for Erik to be completely smitten with her gorgeous smile and playful personality!

Once you know... you just know, so why wait? Chrissy and Erik decided they'd waited long enough to spend forever together and I can't wait to photograph their wedding in July!! YAY!!

Since Erik was visiting for a brief weekend, we decided to make a last minute engagement session happen... and I'm SO glad we did!

We woke up at the crack of dawn to get in their sunrise session....

And it was so cold that I made them cuddle a whole bunch! :)

Chrissy's style is the perfect blend of classic and country, and I loved the outfits she put together for the two of them - the morning of our shoot, no less! (Yay procrastinators, Chrissy!)

Even though they were quite frigid, these two made it seem as though they were professional models!!

Chrissy, you have SUCH an amazing laugh! :)

Long distance relationships can be so difficult at times (Sunil and I remember that well!) - but I am so so thankful that they'll soon be together for the rest of their lives!

Erik and Chrissy, THANK YOU so much for allowing Sunil and I to spend a few precious hours with you! I am so so excited to photograph your wedding in New Jersey and I can't wait to see what your adventure holds! We love you guys! :)
