Chance and Rachel Beth Wedding

It all felt like home.

The church she’d grown up at was a comfortable place for both Chance and Rachel Beth, and they wanted their guests to feel that sense of simple contentment. From the decorations to the outfits to the food to the vows, their wedding was a quiet expression of them - there were no flashy extras meant to impress anyone, but rather a collective, quiet breath as they said I do.

Both Rachel Beth and Chance are hugely patriotic people, and they incorporated as many of their favorite red, white, and blue colors as possible!

Rachel Beth was the epitome of calm and collected. She never felt rushed, never stressed out, and spread joy to everyone around her.

Chance isn’t usually a very emotionally expressive man, so I had to be sneaky when I caught glimpses of his immense affection for his bride. :)

Throughout the day, he would take her bouquet and “bop” her on the head as she would dissolve into a fit of giggles.

It was as if they were an old married couple already.

Their friends were delighted to be part of Chance and Rachel Beth’s big day!

True friends hug you even if you’re not a hugger. Only true friends.

Allllll the laughing must run in the family. :)

And as the day continued, there were some happy tears too.

They both decided to surprise each other with ring pops during the ceremony! You know you’re meant for each other when you pull the same prank….

Once the ceremony was over and the party began, they found quiet moments to enjoy each other…

And, of course, found a few moments to sing out their favorite songs together!

Rachel Beth and Chance - THANK YOU!! It is such a gift to be able to photograph and document the culmination of all of the hard work and planning that went into your wedding! Thank you for trusting me with yourselves, your families, and your big day. I’m praying that you have a long and happy marriage!

Alex and Nicola

I don’t usually blog this many photos in one post.

But some stories can’t be told in just a few photos.

You see, these two are kindred spirits.

Silly and sweet.

Strong and safe.

Since they legitimately are the most adventurous people I know….

We took a risk and shot at an abandoned theater (with enough color and pizazz to brighten anyone’s day).

We explored an old field with an uprooted tree.

And they snuggled and kissed as though a random watching woman and I weren’t even there.

Slowly, they breathed in the memories of their life together.

The rich life they’ve worked hard to create.

And hand in hand, they breathed out the dreams and plans they have for the future.

The future they take on side by side.

Alex and Nic, words can’t even. Thanks for letting me into your life and loving fiercely alongside me. You both mean the world to me and I can’t wait to see where God takes you. *group hug* :)
