Sometimes photographing the same family for years is difficult. Becky and I still  refer back to THIS family session as "the perfect one". (Let's face it - the perfect light, perfectly behaved children, and a perfect location? Yeah. Pretty perfect.)  

But alas... another year rolls around and it's time for family pictures again... and I'm forced to create even better images.

But don't get me wrong - I LOVE repeat customers! There is something SO rewarding about seeing kids grow up in front of my eyes (lens) and being able to look back at a family's journey that I've captured.

I love watching personalities develop and change as kids get older...

And I love seeing more sweet babies added...

And loved. :)

These two. THESE TWO. Are hilarious.

Andy doesn't call himself a photogenic guy...

But every year I look forward to the ways he'll make his beautiful wife laugh.

Still adorable. Still in love.

Even after 10 years. (Happy 10th anniversary, by the way!!)

I love these next two!!

So... we played.

And kissed...

And giggled and laughed...

And somewhere along the way, I forgot I was supposed to top "the perfect one".

Because really, with a family like this...

How much more beautiful could they get?? :)

(Oh yeah! That's right. I'm related to these adorable munchkins. Here's me and my little kidlets. Poor kids... they were a bit shoot-ed out...)

(See? This photo  is proof that all photoshoots do NOT end well...  and contrary to popular belief, this family is NOT perfect. Normal photographers would trash this image... but really? This is real life. I'm just in love.)
