Contentment

My love....  

Today is our 6 month anniversary.

And even though we'll spend it apart....

I'm still thinking about you.

And how amazing you are, especially with kids.

And how I wish you could be here for dad's surgery. Two weeks seems way too long to be apart from you.

But as you drove me to the airport this morning at 5:30... you reminded me of something very important.

Anxiety and fear cannot live where thankfulness and prayer dwell.

So today I'm choosing to be content.

Content to find rest in the One who knows.

Philippians 4:6

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
