New feet and rain boots

As promised, here is a shoot I did over a month ago! My wedding was quickly approaching, but this incredible mom emailed me and tentatively asked if I could squeeze her in. You see... I've photographed their family before for school, and once before then as well. I connected super well with their adorable kidlets, and if I remember right, one of them even asked me to live with them. :) So you see... I couldn't say no. Besides, they had just adopted this sweet little girl... And when she emailed me and said "Our kids just don't smile for anyone else but you!!".... well.... she had me. I said yes.

I asked her, "Does she feel like your child yet?"

She replied - "I often forget she's not my biological child... she's already so much a apart of me!"

Before we wandered outside, I took the girls to momma and daddy's bed....

I love the intimate moment it created!!

We had to get lots of feet shots...

Thankfully mom is just as crazy about feet as I am... :)

Sure, not everyone's looking... but this is totally their wonderful family. To a T.

Tears threaten to well up every time I see this image...

After we hung inside for a while... they showed me their new boots and took me outside to splash in the puddles.

And play with the pretty light...

Note to self.....

Buy some sweet rain boots.
